Growing Stronger Together

Comerica Supports Studio 6 Fitness in Celebration of National Small Business Week

In 2018, Owner of Studio 6 Fitness, Elizabeth Lindberg, experienced a major financial crisis when her national lender pulled out of the commitment to fund her new studio location. Comerica Bank stepped up to the plate and financed the opening of the new studio and has since provided funding and support over the years for new state-of-the-art equipment and updates to her four studio locations.

When Elizabeth began discussions with Comerica, she asked about the bank being a local lender because she thought it was a national company. Comerica described its small business banking approach as “having the strength of a regional, national lender, but with the focus on local businesses.”

She has seen and experienced that testimony to be true over the last seven years as she has built close relationships and received hands-on support from the Comerica team – a team that puts a focus on local lending and community impact combined with the resources of a national lender. Elizabeth feels that without Comerica’s support through her Lakewood studio opening and the pandemic, her business would not be here today.

To celebrate National Small Business Week, May 4 – 10, Comerica leadership participated in a Pilates class the studio and experienced first-hand what it means to grow stronger together as both Studio 6 Fitness and Comerica share the belief that when the community is stronger, businesses are stronger.
