Q: What is the most noticeable change to the Comerica eFX® platform?

A: The updated Comerica eFX® offers simpler navigation with fewer clicks. Instead of navigating through tabs, you’ll use an intuitive, menu-based layout.

Q: Are there any resources that demonstrate basic functionality?

A: Yes, the demonstration videos highlight key features, such as Initiating an FX Quick Trade, Initiating an FX Trade, Splitting a Trade and Using Excel Import, Assigning Payment Instructions, Approvals and Releases, User Administration and Managing Foreign Currency Accounts.

Q: Is there any new functionality?

A: Yes, the new FX Quick Trade feature allows you to initiate an FX transaction directly from the Comerica eFX® homepage, including entering beneficiary payment instructions, payment references and comments — all from one screen.

Q: When the new version is released, do I need to update my existing payment instructions, user permissions or limits?

A: No, all your existing payment instructions, user permissions and limits will transfer automatically to the new version.

Q: Will I lose my transaction history?

A: No, you won’t lose any transaction history. All of your previous transaction data will remain available in the new version.

Q: Do I need to do anything to access the new version of Comerica eFX®?

A: No action is required. The new version will replace the old one automatically when it is decommissioned.

Q: Can I go back to the previous version of Comerica eFX®?

A: No, the previous version cannot be restored. If you encounter any issues with the new version, contact your FX Advisor for assistance.
