Scott has more than 20 years' experience in the financial industry and holds a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems from Baylor University in Waco, TX.

With deep ties to Texas, John is deeply passionate about giving back to the community. He actively supports causes focused on children, civil rights and social action, economic empowerment, education, human rights, poverty alleviation and social services. He also volunteers as a Basketball Coach for the YMCA/DISD/Summer and AAU Basketball programs in Dallas, TX.
