Nicholas Amos

Nicholas Amos is a Managing Director in Investment Banking at Comerica Securities. He has spent more than 30 years in the investment banking and corporate finance business, having held senior positions at several major firms including Bear Stearns, Credit Suisse, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Standard Chartered PLC. Focused on M&A advisory for most of his career, Nicholas additionally has experience with public and private debt and equity issuance, as well as substantial direct investment experience with Liberty Mutual Asset Management and ERP, a private equity firm that he helped found.
With more than $150 billion of cumulative transaction experience across over 100 transaction and projects, Nicholas has been an advisor to hundreds of corporations, private equity firms, private companies and other entities in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, takeover defense, proxy contests, securities offerings and private placements.
Nicholas received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University’s College of Arts and Sciences, and his MBA degree with distinction from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar
