Gautham Metta

Gautham Metta is an Officer and Foreign Exchange Advisor in Comerica’s Foreign Exchange Capital Markets group, where he partners with clients to execute cross-border payments denominated in foreign currencies. In addition to facilitating transactions, he develops customized foreign exchange strategies to help clients mitigate exchange rate volatility.

Prior to his current role, Gautham worked on a bond desk trading municipal bonds and mortgage-backed securities. He also served as a Legislative Aide during the 87th General Session of the Texas Legislature, gaining valuable experience in public policy and legislative affairs.

Gautham holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He is actively involved in Comerica’s internal community as Communications Chair for the North Texas Young Professionals Employee Resource Group.

Outside of work, he leads the Snap Hook Foundation, a charity golf tournament dedicated to combatting childhood homelessness, reflecting his strong commitment to leadership and community engagement. He also volunteers with the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple and The Ability Experience, contributing to initiatives that promote accessibility and social equity.
