We know small businesses are the backbone of the economy and a huge part of local communities. This year for National Small Business Week, May 4 – 10, Comerica is celebrating small businesses by supporting organizations that help enable these businesses to succeed.
Our $250,000 donation is strategically allocated to five nonprofits, each playing a critical role in supporting small businesses through various means, including:

Impact Ventures
Dallas
Impact Ventures’ mission is to empower talented, yet under-estimated Communities of Color, to build generational wealth through inclusive entrepreneurship, community wealth building, and integrated capital.

TechTown Detroit
Detroit
TechTown Detroit offers more than 20 different programs and resources for small business owners, tech founders and entrepreneurs at every step of their journey. As the host of the Comerica Detroit HATCH program, TechTown awards a local entrepreneur monetary funds for opening a brick-and-mortar business.

Women’s Business Enterprise Alliance
Houston
The Women’s Business Enterprise Alliance is committed to increasing business opportunities for women-owned businesses and corporate members through education, programs, and professional networking.

Pacific Asian Consortium in Employment (PACE)
Los Angeles
PACE drives economic opportunity in Los Angeles' underserved communities. The organization recognizes that everyone deserves a chance to thrive, yet too many face barriers to building a secure economic future for themselves and their families.

Working Solutions CDFI
San Francisco
Working Solutions CDFI is the First to Believe in start-up and early-stage businesses by providing diverse entrepreneurs with affordable capital, customized business consulting, and community connections to increase economic opportunity in California.
These organizations were carefully selected for their proven track records in making tangible differences in the lives of small business owners. Our financial support will enable them to expand their reach, enhance their programs, and ultimately, empower more entrepreneurs to achieve their goals.
Our commitment extends beyond financial contributions. We take pride in actively engaging with local communities through various initiatives, including providing financial guidance, offering specialized banking services tailored to small businesses, and fostering strong relationships with community leaders.
We understand the challenges small business owners face and are dedicated to providing the support they need to thrive. We are celebrating small business entrepreneurs who bring their A-game every day because when small businesses hit a home run, our communities also come out with a win.
