Customer satisfaction and timeliness are always a priority.  Our Account Reconcilement Plan (ARP) is an automated service that organizes check information – both paid and outstanding – allowing you to reconcile your bank accounts in an efficient, economical, and expedient manner.

How It Works

This service reconciles your checking account and provides you detailed reconcilement reporting within five business days of the account cycling.


You can save time and money by eliminating the clerical and accounting effort required to reconcile bank accounts. You can add controls to create a separation of duties, ensuring the individual that issues checks for the organization is not responsible for reconciling that account and reduce the potential for internal fraud. Additionally, it ensures that your depository accounts are reconciled on a timely basis each month.


  • Elimination of the time and expense of manually reconciling accounts
  • Reconcilement matches your statement cycles; weekly, bimonthly or monthly, depending upon your needs
  • Receipt of bank statements – with your detailed reconcilement information
  • Additional formats for reconcilement data can be provided; transmission, Bank Reports in Comerica Treasury Information ReportingTM and Comerica Treasury File ReportingTM or CD-ROM
  • Adjustments for encoding errors and check misreads are automatically processed for your account

The ARP Suite of Services

  • Deposit Reconcilement is designed to assist customers with multiple depositing locations in reconciling their high-volume depository accounts using a single account structure. Each location makes deposits into the same account, which can include check and credit card deposits. This eliminates the charges and reconcilement efforts of having separate accounts for each location.
  • Full Reconcilement service provides a detailed list of both paid and outstanding checks in numerical order, based on the check issue information that you provide to us.
  • Partial Reconcilement service provides you with a detailed list of paid checks presented in numerical order.
  • Positive Pay is an online fraud protection service that compares checks presented for payment against your company’s check issue file, providing you with the opportunity to return any item deemed suspect. Daily suspect items and check images are available via Positive Pay and Images Services accessed through Comerica Business ConnectTM.
